Hydro RAZAN® Optipep® consists exclusively of Optipep® 90 DH4, a Grass-Fed™ certified raw material, one of the most advanced, complete and high-quality protein sources available on the market today. Hydrolysis is a process of breaking down proteins into simpler molecular structures, peptides, composed of small amino acid chains, which are highly digestible and bioavailable very quickly.

– Less flavour: real hydrolysed proteins have a characteristic bitter taste. Why? For the simple reason that the degree of hydrolysis (such as DH4 or the latest arrivals with a 32 degree of hydrolysis, like Yamamoto® Nutrition Evopep32) results in the formation of a powder made up of peptides, which are naturally bitter to the palate. The opposite would be disconcerting! But, if a hydrolysed protein is bitter and highly digestible by nature, why are there hydrolysates on the market that are sweet and taste so strong that they remind one of a fine pastry? For the simple reason that they are ‘loaded’ with flavourings and other superfluous elements.
